What is Text Reverser?

A text reverser flips input in three granularities: every character, the order of words, or the order of lines. Each mode answers a different need — character reversal for puzzles and palindromes, word reversal for sentence games, line reversal for flipping log or list order.

The subtle part is Unicode: emoji and many CJK characters are made of multiple code units, and naive reversal produces garbage like broken surrogate halves. This tool reverses on grapheme boundaries so an emoji stays an emoji and Chinese characters stay intact.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste your text into the input area.
  2. 2Choose the reversal mode: characters, words or lines.
  3. 3Read the reversed output instantly.
  4. 4Copy the result back to your editor or chat.

Common use cases

  • Solving and creating word puzzles and palindrome checks.
  • Flipping the order of log lines so the newest entry is on top.
  • Preparing mirror-text effects for designs and social posts.

Frequently asked questions

▸Why do other tools break my emoji?

They reverse raw code units instead of grapheme clusters. An emoji can be 2-4 code units plus modifiers; splitting it mid-sequence yields invalid characters. This tool reverses whole graphemes.

▸Does line reversal keep empty lines?

Yes — lines are treated as-is including empty ones, so the structure of the block is preserved, only the order flips.
